Hello everyone. Just thought I'd drop a quick note. Kodie is going to state at the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot. She is competing in reining and is an alternate for Western Horsemanship (Western Pleasure). She placed first in reining and 4th in horsemanship. Her classes are huge, there are usually 13 to 18 contestants so she's pretty excited. Laddie did awesome once again. They were the first ones in and with that big class, he ended up standing for about 35 minutes. They did well and she plans on doing halter with him next year.

"Laddie" was a 2012 Heritage foundation foal, he is out of Piper and is by City Smarts.

KT Double the Chrome, "Slick", at a Youth Horsemanship Clinic at Western Pleasure Guest Ranch in Sandpoint, Id. Slick and his rider earned a blue ribbon. Head up there for the weekend and take Slick, or one of their other horses, for a ride. Slick is out of Double and Comet.
I took Scarlett to a local show on Saturday (it was put on by the Pacific Wild Horse Club) and she was absolutely amazing for me! She got in and rode in the trailer like a doll and was very calm and quiet at the show grounds and nothing and no one even Scared her! We got 4th in showmanship and 5th in Halter which I was very pleased with! And in my opinion she was definitely the prettiest little lady there!
Thanks so much for everything!
Tara and Scarlett

Scarlett is a 2012 filly by City Smarts and out of KT Remington Gold. She was a Heritage foal. Remington is by Captains Double Coy and is out of Pistol.

We all had a lot of fun at the Adams County Fair this year (2012). Anna, Pepper, Kaine and Kade all showed in the walk trot class. Jaxsen and Tesa showed in the lead line class. The kids were not going to get to show in the actual show until later and we could not stay that long so we found our own judge and had our own show in the warm up arena. The Adams County fair was on September 15th.

She was interested in what was going on and very responsive to what I asked her to do. She tromped over the bridge with no worries and went through the river with ease.
